Hi, my name is Monica and this is a compensated customer testimonial for Saha Self-care.
Product being reviewed: Reliva Wellness CBD Tincture (1000mg)
For this testimonial, I was sent a Reliva Wellness CBD Tincture as well as a Saha CBD Tincture – both for 1000mg – and was asked to explain how I currently use CBD and why and then compare the two products in terms of value, personal effectiveness and any other considerations (i.e. branding, product selection, etc.) but for me, the decision to choose Saha over Reliva had nothing to do with all that.
Personally, I’m tired of all these big companies jumping into hemp and cannabis and CBD and trying to make money off the next new thing.
That’s not to say there aren’t great corporate companies out there doing the right thing but when I read that Reliva was owned by an ex-tobacco executive who then sold the company to Aurora Cannabis, a Canadian company, it just reaffirmed that I want to buy my CBD from AMERICAN businesses and AMERICAN SMALL, FAMILY owned businesses at that.
Let’s face it, there’s only so much difference between the CBD oil that all these companies are selling. The key thing is in addition to the carrier oils, and the purity of the CBD oil, there’s only so much that can be done to these products. It’s basically a commodity. So the question then becomes: who do you want to support?
And for me, it’s the small businesses that really care about their products and in this case, really believing that hemp is healing and not just some product to make a buck off. So for me, I’m supporting Saha and what they represent which is buy small, buy family-owned, buy minority-owned and support Main Street.
For the record, both tincture products seemed to work just fine for me. The Reliva Wellness and Saha tinctures both have a minty flavor and the Reliva Wellness tincture is made from CBD isolate while Saha’s is made from broad spectrum.
Perhaps not the review I was asked to write or you, the reader, were expecting but I hope it gave you something to think about and that you found it helpful to some extent.
